Seit 2002 begleitet mich Fotografie

 – zuerst still, dann bestimmend.

Bevor sie meine Sprache wurde, war ich Koch, Foodstylist und Gastgeber in meiner eigenen Weinbar. Diese Berufe haben mich gelehrt, dass sich Zufälle gestalten lassen – dass im vermeintlich Ungeplanten bereits eine Komposition liegt, wenn man sie erkennt.

Durch all das zieht sich ein roter Faden: Geschmack, Stil, Empathie, Genuss und die Freude an Präzision – sie verbinden Küche, Bühne, Bild und Mensch zu einer gemeinsamen Sprache des Sehens.

Ich habe kein inneres Auge – Bilder entstehen bei mir nicht im Kopf. Vielleicht ist Fotografie deshalb mein Weg, Eindrücke in Form zu bringen. Fotografie ist für mich Beweis und Sprache zugleich.

Angefangen habe ich mit reiner Dokumentation – beobachten, festhalten, erzählen, ohne Eingriff und ohne Inszenierung. Mit der Zeit wurde daraus ein künstlerischer Prozess: eine Haltung des Sehens.

In den letzten Jahren öffnete sich ein neuer Raum: Fashion und Beauty, Corporate-Identity-Projekte und Porträts junger Künstler:innen und Musiker:innen – präzise, nah, mit dem gleichen Blick für Ton und Haltung.

Die dokumentarische Arbeit bleibt dabei eine Konstante – verdichtet durch die Jahre.

Photography has been with me since 2002—quiet at first, then defining.

Before it became my language, I worked as a chef, food stylist, and host of my own wine bar. Those years taught me that chance can be shaped—that within what seems unplanned, a composition already exists if you learn to recognize it.

A clear thread runs through everything: taste, style, empathy, pleasure, and a love of precision—connecting kitchen, stage, image, and human presence into a shared language of seeing.

I don’t have a mind’s eye—images don’t appear in my head. Perhaps that’s why photography became my way of giving impressions a form. For me, photography is proof and language at once.

I began in pure documentation: observing, holding, telling—without interference and without staging. Over time, it turned into an artistic process: a way of seeing.

In recent years, a new space opened up: fashion and beauty, corporate identity projects, and portraits of young artists and musicians—precise, close, guided by the same sense for tone and attitude.

Documentary work remains a constant throughout—condensed by the years.
